Il masterplan<\/strong> delle Nitto ATP Finals<\/strong>, ospitate a Torino dal 14 al 21 novembre<\/strong>, \u00e8 stato firmato dall\u2019architetto Benedetto Camerana<\/strong>, vincitore a novembre 2020 del Beauty Contest<\/strong> lanciato dalla Federazione Italiana Tennis (FIT) <\/strong>con\u00a0Awe International Group (capogruppo), KPMG Sport e Nielsen Sports, Arriva Italia\u00a0e Politecnico di Torino imponendosi su un gruppo di altri 9 candidati tra cui Carlo Ratti Associati, Italdesign e Michele De Lucchi, Pininfarina e Matteo Gatto & Associati, We Plan e Armando Testa.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Camerana ha dato forma alle esigenze di un evento di rilevanza internazionale<\/strong>, che ha portato in Italia i pi\u00f9 importanti professionisti mondiali del tennis<\/strong> e che si ripeter\u00e0 in Citt\u00e0 per i prossimi 4 anni. La capitale sabauda<\/strong> \u00e8 infatti venue <\/em>delle Nitto ATP Finals dal 2021 al 2025 <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Due gli interventi progettati da Camerana:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

-la trasformazione del Pala Alpitour<\/strong>, disegnato dal premio \u201cPritzker<\/strong>\u201d, Arata Isozaki<\/strong> , per le gare di hockey su ghiaccio in occasione delle Olimpiadi invernali del 2006 <\/strong>con la realizzazione di nuove\u00a0lounge, box\u00a0commentatori, nuove tribune parterre e un campo di allenamento.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

–due padiglioni in Piazza San Carlo<\/strong> (Torino), uno dei monumentali centri barocchi della Citt\u00e0, d<\/strong>ue padiglioni simmetrici a un piano, di 85×10 metri<\/strong> ciascuno, destinati agli sponsor e alle istituzioni che supportano l\u2019evento.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Le strutture <\/strong>saranno utilizzate<\/strong> anche durante le finali<\/strong> della Coppa Davis<\/strong>, la 109\u00aa edizione\u00a0<\/strong>del torneo <\/strong>mondiale tra squadre nazionali di tennis maschile che si terr\u00e0 dal 25 al 29 novembre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

The masterplan for the Nitto ATP Finals<\/strong>, hosted in Turin from November 14 to 21<\/strong>, was signed by architect Benedetto Camerana, winner in November 2020 of the Beauty Contest<\/strong> launched by the Italian Tennis Federation (FIT) <\/strong>with Awe International Group (group leader), KPMG Sport and Nielsen Sports, Arriva Italia and Politecnico di Torino, winning over a group of 9 other candidates including Carlo Ratti Associati, Italdesign and Michele De Lucchi, Pininfarina and Matteo Gatto & Associati, We Plan and Armando Testa.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Camerana gave shape to the needs of an event of international relevance<\/strong>, which brought to Italy the most important world professionals of tennis and which will be repeated in the City for the next 4 years<\/strong>. In fact, the Savoy capital will host the Nitto ATP Finals from 2021 to 2025.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The interventions designed by Camerana are two:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

– the transformation of Pala Alpitour, designed by the \u00abPritzker\u00bb prize winner Arata Isozaki<\/strong>, for ice hockey competitions during the 2006 Winter Olympics, with the construction of new lounges, commentators’ boxes, new parterre stands and a training field<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

-two pavilions in Piazza San Carlo (Turin)<\/strong>, one of the monumental baroque centers of the city, two symmetrical pavilions with one floor, 85×10 meters each, for the sponsors and institutions that support the event.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The facilities will also be used during the finals of the Davis Cup, the 109th edition <\/strong>of the world tournament between men’s national tennis teams, to be held Nov. 25-29<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
