An active opera, oratorio and concert singer, he has lived in Munich since the beginning of the 2011\/12 season, where he belongs to the ensemble of the Bayerische Staatsoper.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"it-IT\">Education<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"it-IT\">Goran completed a Master&#8217;s degree in Opera Studies at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb under the tuition of Vlatka Or\u0161ani\u0107. He is also completing his second Master&#8217;s degree in Phonetics and Italian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"it-IT\">He started his music education at the School of Music in Karlovac, studying flute and solo singing (under the tutelage of Radmila Bocek). He continued with secondary music education at the School of Music Vatroslav Lisinski in Zagreb, studying with Bojan Pogrmilovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"it-IT\">In addition to his regular education, he has completed a number of professional courses, seminars and master classes with renowned musicians and voice coaches including Gerhard Zeller, Philip Pickett and Roberto Scandiuzzi. In the summer of 2011 he participated in the Young Singers\u2019 Project of the Salzburg Festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"it-IT\">Experience<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"it-IT\">A regular performer at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb since 2008, Goran Juri\u0107 has performed roles including Plutone and Caronte in Monteverdi\u2019s L&#8217;Orfeo, Sarastro in Die Zauberfl\u00f6te and Suleiman the Magnificent in Zajc&#8217;s Nikola \u0160ubi\u0107 Zrinjski.
