Restauro e retrofit energetico di Villa Rossi, edificio anni sessanta\u00a0<\/strong>patrimonio Unesco a Ivrea<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Ivrea Villa Rossi, parte degli edifici della citt\u00e0 industriale moderna olivettiana, oggi Patrimonio dell’Umanit\u00e0 Unesco, \u00e8 stata restaurata dallo studio di architettura torinese G Studio, con un intervento che coniuga perfettamente la conservazione dell’autenticit\u00e0 materiale con l’adattamento alle esigenze contemporanee in termini di spazio e sostenibilit\u00e0 energetica.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Villa Rossi<\/strong>\u00a0a\u00a0Ivrea<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e8 una delle quattro ville commissionate nel\u00a01959<\/strong>\u00a0da dirigenti dell’Olivetti all’Ufficio Consulenza Case Dipendenti\u00a0<\/strong>(Uccd), costruite tra il 1960 e il 1961. Situata sulle colline di Banchette, Villa Rossi \u00e8 parte dell’audace visione di Adriano Olivetti per una citt\u00e0 industriale moderna. Nel 2018 \u00e8 stata inclusa nella buffer zone del patrimonio dell’umanit\u00e0 Unesco di \u00abIvrea Citt\u00e0 industriale del XX Secolo<\/strong>.\u00bb<\/p>\n

L’architetto\u00a0Enrico Giacopelli di G Studio<\/strong>\u00a0ha guidato\u00a0il restauro di Villa Rossi<\/strong>\u00a0con l’obiettivo di preservare le sue caratteristiche originali e migliorarne l’efficienza energetica.<\/p>\n

Villa Rossi rappresenta un’eccezione nelle realizzazioni dell’Uccd, con uno stile architettonico innovativo che include\u00a0tetti piani, logge, frangisole e rivestimenti in gr\u00e8s di varie dimensioni e tonalit\u00e0.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il progetto di restauro si \u00e8 concentrato sulle\u00a0facciate, i frangisole, le parti metalliche e il muro di cinta.<\/strong>\u00a0Le facciate in gr\u00e8s sono state restaurate, e i componenti in terracotta smaltata danneggiati sono stati ripristinati. Gli interni sono stati adeguati alle esigenze contemporanee, con attenzione al mantenimento degli arredi originali.<\/p>\n

Il progetto ha anche affrontato il\u00a0miglioramento energetico,\u00a0<\/strong>portando Villa Rossi\u00a0alla classe B<\/strong>\u00a0con interventi come l’isolamento con sughero e la correzione dei ponti termici. Gli infissi originali sono stati restaurati, e la copertura \u00e8 stata rinnovata per migliorare l’efficienza termica.<\/p>\n

Questo progetto \u00e8 un\u00a0modello di successo\u00a0<\/strong>nel campo del restauro e dell’adattamento\u00a0sostenibile degli edifici del novecento,<\/strong>\u00a0con implicazioni significative per la conservazione del patrimonio architettonico.<\/p>\n

\nRestoration and energy retrofit of a 1960s villa, a UNESCO heritage site in Ivrea.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Ivrea, Villa Rossi, part of the modern Olivetti industrial city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been restored by the Turin-based architecture firm G Studio. The project seamlessly combines the preservation of material authenticity with adaptation to contemporary needs in terms of space and energy sustainability.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Villa Rossi<\/strong>\u00a0in Ivrea is one of the four villas commissioned in\u00a01959<\/strong>\u00a0by Olivetti executives to the\u00a0Employee Housing Consultancy Office<\/strong>\u00a0(Uccd) and built between 1960 and 1961. Located on the hills of Banchette, Villa Rossi is part of\u00a0Adriano Olivetti<\/strong>‘s bold vision for a modern industrial city. In 2018, it was included in the buffer zone of the\u00a0UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong>\u00a0\u00abIvrea, the Industrial City of the 20th Century.\u00bb<\/p>\n

Architect\u00a0Enrico Giacopelli of G Studio<\/strong>\u00a0led the restoration of Villa Rossi with the aim of preserving its original features and improving its energy efficiency.<\/p>\n

Villa Rossi stands out among Uccd’s projects with its innovative architectural style, including flat roofs, loggias, sunshades, and cladding in various sizes and shades of sandstone.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0restoration project<\/strong>\u00a0focused on the facades, sunshades, metal components, and perimeter wall. Sandstone facades were restored, and damaged glazed terracotta elements were repaired. The interior was adapted to contemporary needs, while preserving the original furnishings.<\/p>\n

The project also addressed\u00a0energy improvements<\/strong>, bringing Villa Rossi to\u00a0Class B\u00a0<\/strong>through measures such as cork insulation and thermal bridge correction. The original fixtures were restored, and the roof was renovated to enhance thermal efficiency.<\/p>\n
