 \u200a pr & media relations – storytelling & journalism – events & exhibitions<\/strong>\u200aBiblioteca intercomunale di Mezzolombardo (TN)<\/strong>\u00a9 Marco IntroiniNata dalla riqualificazione degli storici locali della ex cantina del prestigioso spumante Equipe 5<\/strong>, la nuova biblioteca si pone come un vero e proprio polo culturale e della memoria storica del territorio di Trento. DAP Studio, in team con SM Ingegneria e Planex<\/strong>, ha concepito uno spazio versatile, che favorisce lo svolgimento simultaneo di attivit\u00e0 diverse, con un grande open space che alterna zone di lettura informali a postazioni per la consultazione. Con pi\u00f9 di 1000 metri quadrati a disposizione, la struttura ospita la biblioteca vera e propria, una moderna sala polifunzionale e sale studio aperte sia durante il giorno che nelle ore serali. La biblioteca si distingue per il delicato equilibrio tra l’edificio storico e i nuovi interventi: bucature e volumi aggettanti sul fronte d\u2019ingresso in bronzo brunito<\/strong> riprendono l\u2019allineamento delle finestre esistenti, creando una continuit\u00e0 visiva e architettonica. Anche all’interno, nuovi elementi e materiali dialogano con la preesistenza: la scala, il ballatoio e i \u201cvolumi sospesi\u201d in tessuto<\/strong>, che diffondono la luce come grandi lampade, inquadrano i principali ambiti della biblioteca. Un approccio progettuale che non solo valorizza il patrimonio storico, ma trasforma la biblioteca in uno spazio contemporaneo e funzionale per l’intera comunit\u00e0.\u00a9 Marco IntroiniBorn from the redevelopment of the historic premises of the former Equipe 5 sparkling wine cellar<\/strong>, the new library serves as a true cultural hub and a center for the historical memory of the region in the northeastern Italian region of Trento. DAP Studio, in collaboration with SM Ingegneria and Planex<\/strong>, conceived a versatile space that accommodates a variety of activities simultaneously, featuring a large open space that alternates informal reading areas with consultation stations. With more than 1000 square meters available, the facility houses the actual library, a modern multipurpose room, and study rooms open both during the day and in the evening.
The library is notable for its delicate balance between the historic building and the new additions: openings and protruding volumes on the entrance front in burnished bronze align with the existing windows, creating visual and architectural continuity<\/strong>. Inside, new elements and materials interact with the pre-existing structure: the staircase, the balcony, and the \u00absuspended volumes\u00bb made of fabric<\/strong>, which diffuse light like large lamps, define the main areas of the library.
