Marigona Qerkezi to star in the<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

world premiere of <\/strong>Pucciniana<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

on the very day of the centenary of Puccini’s death<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 A major event will mark the conclusion of the Puccini centenary celebrations at the Royal Opera of Wallonia-Li\u00e8ge<\/strong>. On 29th November<\/strong>, the exact date of Giacomo Puccini\u2019s passing, the world premiere of Pucciniana<\/em><\/strong> will take place. Commissioned by the Royal Opera of Wallonia-Li\u00e8ge for this occasion, Pucciniana<\/em> is a new cantata for soprano, tenor, chorus, and orchestra presented as a musical dialogue in five tableaux, composed by Maestro Andrea Battistoni<\/strong>. Casa Sonzogno, Puccini\u2019s historic publisher, also joins in the tribute by publishing the new score.

Soprano Marigona Qerkezi will be the star of the evening <\/strong>alongside tenor Galeano Salas<\/strong>. Returning to the Belgian theatre for the second time after her debut in Verdi\u2019s Requiem<\/em> last year, Marigona expressed her excitement with this statement:\u00bbIt is a great honor for me to be chosen to perform Pucciniana<\/em> for the first time, in celebration of the centenary of Giacomo Puccini’s passing. This new composition, created by composer and conductor Andrea Battistoni and conducted by Maestro Giampaolo Bisanti, will be presented at the prestigious Royal Opera of Wallonia-Li\u00e8ge. The evening will honour Puccini\u2019s timeless influence on opera, celebrating one of the most beloved and important composers in musical history. It is a privilege to be part of this Puccini Gala, performing in the world premiere of Pucciniana <\/em>and also in some of Puccini’s most iconic arias from Madama Butterfly<\/em> and Turandot.<\/em> I am truly delighted!\u00bb

The concert will be conducted by Giampaolo Bisanti,<\/strong> the musical director of the Op\u00e9ra Royal de Wallonie-Li\u00e8ge, who has described Qerkezi and Salas as \u201ctwo magnificent artists, among the finest young talents in the international operatic world.\u201d<\/a><\/td><\/tr>

\ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9 Un grande evento sta per sigillare la conclusione del centenario pucciniano alla Royal Opera di Wallonia-Li\u00e8ge<\/strong> che, il 29 novembre<\/strong> (data esatta della scomparsa di Giacomo Puccini), presenter\u00e0 la prima mondiale di Pucciniana<\/em><\/strong> commissionata per l’occasione al Maestro Andrea Battistoni<\/strong>. Pucciniana<\/em> \u00e8 una cantata per soprano, tenore, coro e orchestra, presentata come un dialogo musicale in cinque scene. Anche Casa Sonzogno, gi\u00e0 editore di Puccini, si unisce a questo omaggio pubblicando la nuova partitura.

Il soprano Marigona Qerkezi sar\u00e0 protagonista della serata<\/strong> insieme al tenore Galeano Salas<\/strong>. Marigona, che torna al teatro belga per la seconda volta dopo il suo debutto nel Requiem<\/em> di Verdi lo scorso anno, ha espresso la sua gioia rilasciando questa dichiarazione:\u00abPer me \u00e8 un grande onore essere stata scelta per interpretare, per la prima volta in assoluto, Pucciniana<\/em>, in occasione del centenario della scomparsa di Giacomo Puccini. Questa nuova composizione, creata dal direttore e compositore Andrea Battistoni e diretta dal Maestro Giampaolo Bisanti, verr\u00e0 presentata nella prestigiosa Royal Opera Wallonie-Li\u00e8ge. La serata celebrer\u00e0 l’influenza senza tempo di Puccini sull’opera, omaggiando uno dei compositori pi\u00f9 amati e rilevanti della storia musicale. \u00c8 un privilegio fare parte di questo Gala Pucciniano cantando prima in Pucciniana<\/em> e poi in alcune delle arie pi\u00f9 iconiche di Puccini tratte da Madama Butterfly<\/em> e Turandot<\/em>. Sono molto felice!\u00bb.

Il concerto sar\u00e0 diretto da Giampaolo Bisanti<\/strong>, direttore musicale dell’Op\u00e9ra Royal de Wallonie-Li\u00e8ge, che ha definito Qerkezi e Salas come \u00abdue artisti magnifici, tra i migliori giovani talenti del canto lirico a livello internazionale\u00bb.<\/a><\/td><\/tr>
