\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 <\/strong>\u00abI’m about to step onto the podium once again in front of the Matth\u00e4us Passion<\/em>, and once again, I’m faced with this work not armed with the faith that guided its composer, but with the need to convey to the audience its symbolic message, which is also profoundly moving.\u00bb With these words, Enrico Onofri<\/strong> introduces his return to Bach’s St. Matthew Passion<\/strong><\/em> which will see him conduct the Orchestre National Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes<\/strong>, of which he is associate conductor, on 6th and 9th April<\/strong>. The first concert will take place at the Op\u00e9ra-Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Clermont-Ferrand<\/strong><\/a> and the second at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es<\/strong><\/a>, a venue the Maestro knows well as a violinist, but where he will set foot for the first time as a conductor.

\u00abMy previous experiences have shown me that the only way to approach this work is by following the thread of a narrative that doesn’t rely on real actors, striking a balance between theatrical participation and sacred distance,\u00bb \u2013 Onofri continues<\/strong>. \u00abIn other words, it\u2019s about expressing the bewilderment we feel in the face of the Passion, allowing ourselves to be absorbed by the symbol, yet experiencing it in a way that feels real and tangible. A journey in which I will be joined, also at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, by my friends and the incredible musicians of the Orchestre National d\u2019Auvergne along with a brilliant cast and the NFM Wroclaw Choir.\u00bb<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9 <\/strong>\u00abMi accingo ancora una volta a salire sul podio di fronte alla Matth\u00e4us Passion<\/em>, e ancora una volta mi trovo ad affrontare quest\u2019opera non armato della fede che guid\u00f2 il suo compositore, ma con la necessit\u00e0 di trasmetterne al pubblico il messaggio simbolico e al contempo profondamente toccante\u00bb. Cos\u00ec Enrico Onofri <\/strong>introduce il suo ritorno alla Passione secondo Matteo<\/strong><\/em> di Bach che lo vedr\u00e0 dirigere l’Orchestre National Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes<\/strong>, di cui \u00e8 direttore associato, i prossimi 6 e 9 aprile<\/strong>. Il primo appuntamento sar\u00e0 all’Op\u00e9ra-Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Clermont-Ferrand<\/strong><\/a>, mentre il secondo avr\u00e0 luogo al Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es<\/a> <\/strong>che il Maestro conosce bene come violinista ma nel quale metter\u00e0 piede per la prima volta come direttore d’orchestra.

\u00abLe precedenti esperienze mi hanno mostrato come l’unica strada sia seguire il filo di una narrazione priva di attori reali, in bilico tra partecipazione teatrale e distanza sacra \u2013 continua Onofri<\/strong>. Raccontare cio\u00e8 lo sconcerto di fronte alla Passione, annullandoci al cospetto del simbolo per poterlo per\u00f2 vivere in maniera tangibile. Un\u2019impresa in cui coinvolger\u00f2, anche al Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs \u00c9lys\u00e9es, gli amici e straordinari artisti dell\u2019Orchestre National d\u2019Auvergne insieme ad uno splendido cast e al coro dello NFM di Wroclaw\u00bb.
