My debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Kirill Petrenko<\/strong><\/em>Baden-Baden and Berlin<\/strong><\/em><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It is an immense pleasure to announce that I am about to take on Madama Butterfly<\/em><\/strong> under the baton of Kirill Petrenko<\/strong> at the helm of the legendary orchestra of which he is chief conductor: the Berliner Philharmoniker<\/strong>. I have worked regularly on Butterfly<\/em> since making my role debut in 2022 at the New York Metropolitan Opera, followed by a production every year, first at the Opera di Roma, then Op\u00e9ra Bastille and now at the Baden-Baden Easter Festival (12th, 15th and 20th April<\/strong>, with stage direction by Davide Livermore)<\/strong> and immediately afterwards in Berlin<\/strong> (25th and 27th April<\/strong> in concert form). This means I will have the unique opportunity of singing in this masterpiece in a staged and a concert performance, repeating the similar recent experience of my debut in Tosca<\/em>: the stage and the concert performance enrich each other thanks to the distinctive characteristics of each. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
