and, as a result, the transformation of the young student into a man who is tormented, a preordained victim who is ultimately aware of the inescapability of his feelings. Puccini recounts everything about the ruin of these young lives with a &#8216;never-ending&#8217; musical thread, giving the two young people that immortality which their wretched, human existence could never have achieved. And, coming back to my role, giving Des Grieux some pieces of rare beauty and one of the most moving duets in opera. Ed \u00e8 altrettanto sconfinato il catalogo degli stati d\u2019animo e dei caratteri di Manon e Des Grieux, la passionalit\u00e0 di quest\u2019ultimo, l\u2019ingenuit\u00e0, lo strazio infinito di un amore \u00abdisperato, senza salvezza\u00bb. E, di conseguenza, la trasformazione del giovane studente in un uomo tormentato, vittima predestinata e infine consapevole di quel sentimento irrinunciabile. Puccini, con una trama musicale \u201cinfinita\u201d ci dice tutto di quella giovent\u00f9 bruciata, dando ai due giovani quell\u2019immortalit\u00e0 che le loro umane e misere vicende non avrebbero conquistato. E, tornando alla mia parte, regalando a Des Grieux pagine di rara bellezza e uno dei duetti pi\u00f9 struggenti della lirica.
