Numerosi filosofi, psicologi, poeti e pensatori spirituali hanno cercato di comprendere le forze enigmatiche che attraggono un essere umano verso un altro. La bellezza fisica, gli impulsi biologici e i fattori sociali sono stati indicati come basi dell\u2019attrazione, ma l\u2019esperienza umana suggerisce qualcosa di diverso: l\u2019attrazione \u00e8 molto pi\u00f9 complessa. Nel mondo contemporaneo, diverse identit\u00e0 e orientamenti sessuali sono emersi all\u2019attenzione pubblica e possono stimolare profonde riflessioni, tra cui la demisessualit\u00e0. La visione Sethiana dell\u2019attrazione umana<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondo la Filosofia Sethiana, l\u2019attrazione umana si manifesta attraverso diversi \u201clivelli\u201d. Il primo \u00e8 l\u2019attrazione sensoriale, che coinvolge la vista, l\u2019udito, il tatto e la percezione dei gesti e della presenza fisica di una persona. Il secondo livello \u00e8 l\u2019attrazione intellettuale, nella quale idee, pensieri e conversazioni generano ammirazione. Il terzo livello \u00e8 l\u2019attrazione emotiva, attraverso cui fiducia, empatia e comprensione danno vita a relazioni significative. Oltre questi livelli vi \u00e8 l\u2019attrazione esistenziale, una profonda sintonia di valori, scopi e visione del mondo tra due individui. Molto spesso la societ\u00e0 moderna concentra la propria attenzione sul primo livello. Pubblicit\u00e0, cinema, social media e cultura popolare ci trasmettono continuamente il messaggio che l\u2019attrazione fisica sia l\u2019elemento pi\u00f9 importante. Tuttavia, per molte persone, l\u2019attrazione si manifesta in modo diverso. Il desiderio nasce dal loro mondo emotivo e intellettuale, che diventa la porta attraverso cui l\u2019attrazione prende forma. Uno degli orientamenti che meglio rappresentano questa realt\u00e0 \u00e8 la demisessualit\u00e0<\/strong>. Una persona demisessuale generalmente non prova attrazione semplicemente sulla base dell\u2019aspetto fisico. L\u2019attrazione non si fonda principalmente sull\u2019apparenza esteriore, ma nasce dal legame emotivo.  L\u2019attrazione sessuale pu\u00f2 emergere soltanto dopo la formazione di un rapporto significativo. Nella comprensione Sethiana, la comprensione precede il desiderio; il linguaggio dell\u2019anima precede quello del corpo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Che cos\u2019\u00e8 la demisessualit\u00e0?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La demisessualit\u00e0 \u00e8 un orientamento sessuale nel quale una persona prova attrazione sessuale verso un\u2019altra soltanto dopo aver sviluppato un legame emotivo con essa. Questo legame pu\u00f2 fondarsi sulla fiducia, sulla vulnerabilit\u00e0 condivisa, sulla comprensione reciproca e sulle esperienze vissute insieme. Essere demisessuali non significa non apprezzare la bellezza o la compagnia degli altri. Non significa nemmeno rifiutare l\u2019intimit\u00e0. Significa semplicemente che il percorso verso l\u2019attrazione segue una strada diversa rispetto a quella comunemente considerata \u201cnormale\u201d. Molte persone possono sperimentare prima l\u2019attrazione fisica e successivamente sviluppare un coinvolgimento emotivo. I demisessuali, invece, tendono a vivere il processo inverso: prima nasce il legame emotivo e poi, eventualmente, l\u2019attrazione sessuale. Questa distinzione \u00e8 importante perch\u00e9 evidenzia la diversit\u00e0 dell\u2019esperienza umana. L\u2019attrazione non \u00e8 un fenomeno uniforme n\u00e9 un processo costante. Gli esseri umani non sono macchine programmate per reagire allo stesso modo agli stimoli. Siamo esseri emotivi, coscienti, portatori di memoria e valori, modellati dalle nostre percezioni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oltre la Biologia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pur riconoscendo le basi biologiche della sessualit\u00e0, la Filosofia Sethiana non considera la biologia l\u2019unico fondamento dell\u2019attrazione umana. Gli esseri umani attribuiscono significati alle proprie esperienze, distinguendosi cos\u00ec dalle altre creature. Non ci limitiamo a reagire: interpretiamo. Non ci limitiamo a desiderare: comprendiamo. L\u2019attrazione, quindi, diventa qualcosa di pi\u00f9 di un semplice impulso biologico. Si trasforma in una connessione tra corpo, mente e coscienza. La demisessualit\u00e0 rappresenta magnificamente questa realt\u00e0. Essa mostra come l\u2019attrazione possa nascere dalla connessione emotiva piuttosto che dalla risposta fisica immediata. Suggerisce che il desiderio non si costruisce attraverso l\u2019apparenza istantanea, ma attraverso la comprensione reciproca. In un mondo dominato dalla velocit\u00e0 e dall\u2019immediatezza, la demisessualit\u00e0 ci ricorda che alcune delle esperienze pi\u00f9 significative richiedono tempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Risonanza emotiva: la Filosofia della connessione profonda<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Essa nasce dalla vita interiore dell\u2019altra persona, che acquisisce significato. La fiducia genera conforto. La comprensione genera ammirazione. La connessione emotiva genera attrazione. Questo ci ricorda che molta della bellezza presente nel mondo non si scopre semplicemente guardando; talvolta si scopre entrando in relazione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La differenza tra vedere e conoscere<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nella cultura moderna, il vedere viene spesso equiparato all\u2019attrazione. Siamo incoraggiati a formulare giudizi sulla base delle impressioni visive. Tuttavia, nella Filosofia Sethiana esiste una distinzione fondamentale tra vedere e conoscere. Vedere una persona significa osservare il suo aspetto esteriore. Conoscere una persona significa comprendere ci\u00f2 che vive nella sua mente e nel suo cuore. La demisessualit\u00e0 pone l\u2019accento sulla conoscenza dell\u2019altro prima del desiderio sessuale. Essa rappresenta il passaggio dalla percezione superficiale alla comprensione profonda. In questo senso, l\u2019attrazione pu\u00f2 essere interpretata come apprezzamento piuttosto che come possesso. Una persona pu\u00f2 apparire ordinaria esteriormente e tuttavia essere straordinariamente bella interiormente grazie alla sua gentilezza, intelligenza, umorismo, integrit\u00e0 e compassione. Questa trasformazione dimostra che l\u2019attrazione non riguarda soltanto le caratteristiche fisiche, ma anche le esperienze emotive e mentali. L\u2019esperienza demisessuale mostra che, talvolta, nella vita umana, la familiarit\u00e0 e la comprensione rendono le persone pi\u00f9 belle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le sfide in un mondo frenetico<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pur essendo una realt\u00e0 ricca e significativa, la demisessualit\u00e0 incontra diverse difficolt\u00e0 nella societ\u00e0 contemporanea. Il mondo delle relazioni moderne privilegia la rapidit\u00e0. Prime impressioni, fotografie, brevi interazioni e giudizi immediati influenzano spesso le scelte romantiche. I social media incoraggiano valutazioni rapide e attrazioni istantanee. Questi contesti possono risultare poco accoglienti per le persone demisessuali. Esse possono trovare difficile comprendere le aspettative sociali riguardo all\u2019attrazione. Amici e conoscenti possono parlare di colpi di fulmine o di attrazioni fisiche immediate verso sconosciuti. Le applicazioni di incontri possono apparire superficiali poich\u00e9 privilegiano l\u2019immagine piuttosto che la connessione emotiva. Di conseguenza, alcuni demisessuali trascorrono anni credendo erroneamente che ci sia qualcosa di sbagliato in loro. La Filosofia Sethiana rifiuta completamente questa visione. La differenza non deve essere confusa con una mancanza. Idee errate sulla Demisessualit\u00e0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con la crescente consapevolezza riguardo alla demisessualit\u00e0, sono emersi anche numerosi fraintendimenti. Molti credono che la demisessualit\u00e0 descriva semplicemente ci\u00f2 che tutte le persone vivono, poich\u00e9 molti attribuiscono valore all\u2019intimit\u00e0 emotiva. Tuttavia, apprezzare l\u2019intimit\u00e0 emotiva non \u00e8 la stessa cosa che averne bisogno come prerequisito dell\u2019attrazione sessuale. Altri ritengono che la demisessualit\u00e0 sia semplicemente timidezza o ansia sociale. In realt\u00e0, queste riguardano il comportamento e la personalit\u00e0, mentre la demisessualit\u00e0 riguarda il modo in cui si sviluppa l\u2019attrazione. Alcuni interpretano la demisessualit\u00e0 come una scelta morale o culturale. Con la crescente consapevolezza della diversit\u00e0 delle relazioni e delle esperienze umane, la societ\u00e0 potrebbe arrivare a riconsiderare profondamente il concetto stesso di relazione, includendo anche la demisessualit\u00e0. La sua accettazione pu\u00f2 incoraggiare le persone a mettere in discussione le proprie idee sull\u2019attrazione e sull\u2019intimit\u00e0. Ci ricorda che non esiste un unico modo corretto o sbagliato di vivere il desiderio. Favorisce il rispetto della diversit\u00e0 e una pi\u00f9 ampia comprensione dei legami emotivi. Uno dei suoi insegnamenti pi\u00f9 preziosi \u00e8 la pazienza. \u201cLa demisessualit\u00e0 insegna il valore di permettere alle relazioni di svilupparsi naturalmente in una cultura innamorata dell\u2019immediatezza. Da una prospettiva Sethiana, la demisessualit\u00e0 \u00e8 molto pi\u00f9 di un semplice orientamento sessuale. \u00c8 una testimonianza di una verit\u00e0 fondamentale dell\u2019essere umano: per alcune persone, il senso di connessione precede l\u2019attrazione. Essa mette in discussione l\u2019idea che il desiderio debba necessariamente iniziare dall\u2019aspetto fisico e mostra come la connessione emotiva possa costituire il fondamento dell\u2019attrazione. Ci aiuta a comprendere che la bellezza non \u00e8 semplicemente qualcosa da osservare, ma qualcosa da scoprire. Ci ricorda che la conoscenza pu\u00f2 essere affascinante quanto l\u2019apparenza e che la fiducia pu\u00f2 essere seducente quanto la bellezza fisica. In breve, la demisessualit\u00e0 arricchisce il mondo ampliando la nostra comprensione della natura umana e dei diversi modi in cui le persone sperimentano l\u2019attrazione e costruiscono relazioni. Ci incoraggia ad andare oltre le spiegazioni semplicistiche e a riconoscere la complessit\u00e0 delle interazioni umane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Human beings  are often described as social, emotional and rational animals. But there is a deeper reality in these descriptions than there is in the notion of \u201cconnection\u201d; we are creatures of connection. Numerous philosophers, psychologists, poets and spiritual thinkers have tried to figure out the enigmatic powers that draw one human being to another. Physical beauty, biological urges and social factors have been said to have been the bases of attraction, but human experience says otherwise, as attraction is much more complicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In today’s world, there are a number of sexualities that have come into the public eye which can be thought provoking, including demisexuality. It is counterintuitive to the idea of attraction and offers a new perspective on emotions, intimacy and desire. From the Sethian Philosophy perspective, demisexuality is not just a sexual orientation, it’s also a sign of a deeper human Godness, understanding that true attraction is not merely in the eyes but in the mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sethian Attraction View of Human Attraction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Sethian Philosophy there are several \u201clayers\u201d to human attraction. The first<\/strong> one is sensory attraction, which involves looking at things, seeing them, hearing them, touching them and moving their body to focus on the look, sound, gesture, touch. The second<\/strong> level is an intellectual attraction, ideas, thoughts and conversations produce admiration. The third<\/strong> step is about emotional attraction, and it is through trust, empathy and understanding that meaningful relationships are formed. Existential attraction is beyond these, and is a deep value alignment, purpose and worldview connection between two people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very often the primary focus of modern society is on the first level. It’s a message that is continually ingrained in us through advertisements, movies, social media, and popular culture: Physical attraction is the most important thing. However, for many people, attraction manifests itself in another way. Desire is a result of their emotional and intellectual world, which becomes the gateways through which the desire is made visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most obvious sexual orientations is demisexuality.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A demisexual person typically doesn’t get attracted to someone just based on looks. They usually don’t base their attraction on physical appearance. Rather, it is created in the emotional bond.Sexual attraction only can be felt after you have formed a bond. But in Sethian understanding is sought before desire is sought after, in the words of the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Is Demisexuality?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sexual orientation where a person feels sexual attraction towards another person only after forming an emotional bond with them. This emotional bond may be a trust, a vulnerability, a mutual understanding and a sharing of experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mere fact that they are demisexual does not mean that they don’t value beauty or companionship. It does not mean that they don’t like intimacy. Instead, their path towards attraction is much different than what is commonly thought of as \u201cnormal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many people may start to feel attraction to another person and then proceed to emotional attraction. Demisexuals will typically feel emotional first and then become attracted to the person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This distinction is important as it accentuates the diversity of human experience. Attraction is no more a constant as it is not a constant process. People are not robots that are programmed to react the same way to other stimuli. We are emotional, conscious, have memories and values and are shaped by our perceptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond Biology:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While recognising the biological basis for sexuality, Sethian Philosophy does not believe that this is the only basis of human attraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Human beings can have meanings for what they have experienced that sets them apart from other creatures. We don’t just respond \u2013 we interpret! We don’t simply want but we know. Attraction turns into greater than a biological desire, therefore. It turns into a connection within the body, mind and consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a very nice depiction of this, in the form of demisexuality. It illustrates how to draw people in with an emotional connection rather than with the initial physical response. It implies that desire can not be produced with a quick fix of appearances but rather through comprehension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Demisexuality is a perspective that reminds us in an ever ‘fast’ and ‘immediacy’ driven world that there are some things that take time in the human experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emotional Resonance: The Philosophy of Emotional Resonance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important concept of Sethian Philosophy is the concept of emotional resonance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emotional Resonance is when two people connect on a level that is beyond the normal level of interaction. The sense of being understood, respected, valued and being emotionally safe. It is the acceptance by another person not only as a body but as an animated body; a being with one’s own dreams, fears, hopes and vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emotional resonance is a basis for attraction for many demisexual people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not an attraction that relates to the beauty of a face, or to the appeal of a body. Instead, it comes from the inner life of another person which becomes meaningful. Trust creates comfort. Understanding creates admiration. Females attract males by being physically intimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a reminder that there’s a lot of beauty in the world to be found here, but not all of it is found by looking; sometimes it’s found by connecting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The difference between seeing and knowing is that one is a true experience while the other is merely a thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In modern culture seeing is equated with attraction. We are encouraged to make our judgements on visual impressions of attractiveness. However in Sethian Philosophy, there is a difference between seeing and knowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The act of seeing someone is to observe his or her outward appearance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When one knows a person, he knows what is in his mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Demisexuality is a focus on getting to know someone before wanting to have a sexual relationship with them. It marks a shift toward perceptions of the surface to deeper understanding. In this respect, the term \u201cattraction\u201d can be used in a more positive way, as it is to mean \u201cappreciation\u201d rather than \u201cpossession\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A person can be normal on the outside, but extremely beautiful on the inside, through their kindness, intelligence, humor, integrity and\/or compassion. This transformation is because attraction isn’t just about physical features, it’s additionally regarding emotional and mental encounters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This demisexual experience shows that in the human experience, sometimes familiarity and understanding makes us beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such places can be unwelcoming for demisexual people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They could have trouble grasping the expectations of society in terms of attraction. Friends can talk about their initial crushes or feelings of physical attraction to someone that they don’t know.
