| 🇮🇹 Brescia, 19 novembre. Nel corso della cerimonia di inaugurazione del 44º Anno Accademico dell’Università degli Studi di Brescia, Annalisa Stroppa è stata premiata con il prestigioso University of Brescia Award per la categoria “Cultura, Arte, Spettacolo e Sport”. Un riconoscimento conferito a personalità come Giuseppe Pasini, Marco Bonometti, Aldo Bonomi, Pia Cittadini, Luciano Corradini, Pietro Gibellini, Sara Simeoni e Giorgio Brunelli che si sono distinte per il loro eccezionale contributo all’Ateneo e al territorio. L’università ha scelto il mezzosoprano bresciano per il suo percorso artistico di risonanza internazionale, per il costante impegno nella diffusione della cultura musicale e per il legame profondo con Brescia. A margine del conferimento del premio, la Stroppa ha espresso grande emozione e gratitudine: «Sono felice ed onorata che abbiano pensato a me per questo riconoscimento che arriva da una prestigiosa istituzione qual è l’Università degli Studi di Brescia. Il premio proviene dalla mia terra, dove sono cresciuta e dove ho mosso i primi passi nel mondo della musica studiando al Conservatorio Luca Marenzio. Il riconoscimento è per me particolarmente significativo perché racchiude le mie radici e tanti anni di studio e dedizione alla musica, all’arte, all’opera. Sono molto grata alla vita per tutto quello che ho potuto realizzare: sacrifici, studio, rinunce e costanza sono stati ripagati da altrettante preziose soddisfazioni. È stata grande l’emozione di poter essere all’Università in festa e con altri premiati così prestigiosi. Ringrazio il Magnifico Rettore Francesco Castelli e il Senato Accademico per l’onore e dedico il mio premio a tutti coloro che hanno creduto in me e che mi hanno sempre sostenuta». |

| 🇬🇧 Brescia, 19 November. During the inauguration ceremony of the 44th Academic Year of the University of Brescia, Annalisa Stroppa was presented with the prestigious University of Brescia Award in the category of «Culture, Arts, Entertainment and Sport». The award is conferred upon distinguished figures — like Giuseppe Pasini, Marco Bonometti, Aldo Bonomi, Pia Cittadini, Luciano Corradini, Pietro Gibellini, Sara Simeoni and Giorgio Brunelli — who have made outstanding contributions to the University and to the local community.The University selected the Brescia-born mezzosoprano in recognition of her internationally acclaimed career, her unwavering commitment to the promotion of musical culture and her profound and enduring bond with the city of Brescia. Following the presentation of the award, Stroppa expressed her deep emotion and gratitude:“I am delighted and honoured to have been chosen for this recognition which comes from such a prestigious institution as the University of Brescia. This award comes from my own land, where I grew up and where I took my first steps in the world of music while studying at the Luca Marenzio Conservatory. The recognition is also particularly meaningful to me as it embraces my roots and the many years of study and dedication that I have devoted to music, to the arts and to opera. I am profoundly grateful for all that life has allowed me to achieve: sacrifices, study, commitment and perseverance have been rewarded with equally precious satisfactions. It was deeply moving to be at the University on this celebratory day and to stand alongside such distinguished award recipients. I extend my sincere thanks to Dean Francesco Castelli and to the Academic Senate for this honour, and I dedicate this award to all those who have always believed in me and supported me.” |
