| 🇬🇧 Maestro Frizza introduces his upcoming symphonic concerts, going into detail about the programmes he has chosen. «In between performances of Nabucco at the Teatro di San Carlo in January and rehearsals for Pagliacci and Cavalleria rusticana at the Teatro del Maggio at the beginning of February, I’m conducting two symphonic concerts with programmes that are extremely appealing for the audience and thrilling for me and the orchestras involved. And in the midst of everything, on 6th February, my symphonic album «Italian Perspectives» is due to be released. Symphonic music takes up a considerable portion of my schedule and has a special place in my heart, but also provides the impulse for me to express my musical maturity at this time, as I prepare to celebrate twenty-five years on the podium.The two concerts are scheduled respectively at the Teatro di San Carlo on 24th January and at the Liszt Academy, Budapest, on 14th February, the first with the San Carlo Orchestra, and pianist Federico Colli, and the second with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra of which I am honorary conductor, and whom I’ll be joining again over the next few months to tackle together other immense symphonic works. In Naples, the programme includes Les Préludes by Liszt, the Schumann Concerto for piano and orchestra in A minor and the Dvořák Symphony no. 9 in E minor «From the New World». In Budapest, we’re performing the Brahms Serenade no. 1 in D major and the Bartók Concerto for orchestra. Fine threads intertwine to form a dense symphonic fabric in Schumann’s masterpiece and in Dvořák’s most famous symphony, but also textures of more ethereal beauty as in the youthful serenade by Brahms, or powerful swathes of sound as in the Préludes by the dearly loved Liszt.» |

| 🇮🇹 Il Maestro Frizza presenta i concerti sinfonici prossimamente in agenda, scendendo nel dettaglio dei programmi scelti. «Tra le recite di gennaio di Nabucco al Teatro di San Carlo e le prove di Pagliacci e Cavalleria rusticana al Teatro del Maggio agli inizi di febbraio, dirigerò due concerti sinfonici con programmi di grande presa per il pubblico ed elettrizzanti per me e per le orchestre con le quali li realizzeremo. E, in mezzo, il 6 febbraio, è prevista l’uscita del mio album sinfonico “Italian Perspectives”. Il sinfonismo occupa una parte importante della mia agenda e un pezzo speciale del mio cuore ma è anche un volano per la necessità di esprimere la mia maturità musicale in questo periodo nel quale celebro i miei venticinque anni con la bacchetta.I due concerti sono previsti rispettivamente al Teatro di San Carlo il 24 gennaio e alla Liszt Academy di Budapest il 14 febbraio, il primo con l’Orchestra del San Carlo e il pianista Federico Colli, il secondo con la Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra della quale sono il direttore onorario e con la quale avremo modo di rivederci nei prossimi mesi per affrontare insieme altre immense pagine sinfoniche. A Napoli il programma comprende Les Préludes di Liszt, il Concerto in la minore per pianoforte e orchestra di Schumann e la Sinfonia n. 9 in mi minore “Dal Nuovo Mondo” di Dvořák. A Budapest, la Serenata n. 1 in re maggiore di Brahms e il Concerto per orchestra di Bartók. Fili sottili tessono tessuti sinfonici densi come nel capolavoro schumanniano e nella sinfonia più celebre di Dvořák, ma anche trame di più eterea bellezza come nella giovanile serenata di Brahms o potenti manti sonori come nei Préludes dell’amato Liszt». |
