| 🇮🇹 È stata appena presentata al Teatro alla Scala la stagione 2026/2027 che si apre con l’Otello di Verdi firmato da Damiano Michieletto e diretto da Myung-Whun Chung, al suo debutto come direttore musicale del teatro. Nel cast spicca Eleonora Buratto come Desdemona, al suo primo vero 7 dicembre, accanto a Brian Jagde nel ruolo del titolo e a Luca Salsi come Iago. Il soprano mantovano – attualmente impegnata nella tournée europea del Requiem di Verdi diretto da Daniele Gatti alla guida della Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden (domani 30 maggio alla Philharmonie de Paris) – torna alla Scala dopo esserci stata con L’elisir d’amore (2015) e in seguito con Così fan tutte, Les Contes d’Hoffmann e Simon Boccanegra, oltre al concerto A riveder le stelle che inaugurò la stagione 2020/21. |

| The 2026/2027 season of Teatro alla Scala has just been announced. It will open with Verdi’s Otello, directed by Damiano Michieletto and conducted by Myung-Whun Chung in his debut as the theatre’s music director. Among the leading cast members is Eleonora Buratto as Desdemona, in her first true 7 December opening night, alongside Brian Jagde in the title role and Luca Salsi as Iago. The soprano from Mantua — currently engaged in the European tour of the Verdi Requiem with Daniele Gatti at the helm of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden (tomorrow, 30 May, at the Philharmonie de Paris) — will be returning at La Scala after appearances in L’elisir d’amore (2015), Così fan tutte, Les Contes d’Hoffmann and Simon Boccanegra, as well as the opening concert of the 2020/2021 season, A riveder le stelle. |
